08.00 Transfer from Moscow to Rostov Velikiy.(~ 190 km ) one of the oldest towns in Russia dating back to 862 AD and a tourist centre of the Golden Ring. Rostov has always been an important point along the Volga trade route and moreover- a great ecclesiastic center and from 988 it was also the see of one of the first Russian bishoprics. |

13.30 Sightseeing tour of the Rostov Kremlin, the Museum of enamel ( the owner of a large collection of Rostov Enamel products dating the XVII century), the Museum of church antiquities situated in white chamber of the Kremlin, Russian Household and Russian Beverages Chamber. |

15.30 Trip to Monastery of St Jacob (Spaso-Yakovlevsky monastyr). Most of the monastery structures were built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries in the fine neoclassical style. The monastery belongs to the Russian Orthodoxy and houses a theological seminary. |

16.30 Transfer to Pereslavl Zalessky (~ 50 km) with a trip to St. Nicholas Monastery (Nikolsky Monastery) on the way to Pereslavl. Well-known for the beauty of its buildings, The monastery was founded in the middle of the 14th century and was many times destroyed and rebuilt only twoof the oldest temples of the monastery have survived — the gateway Peter and Paul Church and the Annunciation Refectory Church. |

17.30 A visit to the St. Nikita Monastery (Nikitsky Monastery),the most ancient in the Pereslavl territory was named in the honor of Pereslavl miracle-worker Nikita the Stylites. It is believed to have been founded in the 11th century. None of the old wooden constructions survived. In the 16th century Ivan the Terrible and his wife Anastasiya Romanovna funded the construction of the stone monastery. |

10.15 Museum–Estate “The Little Boat of Peter the Great” (3km south of Pereslavl-Zalessky). A unique and picturesque Russian museum where at the end of the 17th century, the tsar Peter The Great built his Funny Fleet, which marked the founding of the Russian Navy. The only boat that has survived is The Fortuna made according to the local legend by Peter himself. It is kept in a building constructed specifically for this purpose in 1803.The ensemble of the estate also includes the White palace, the Triumphal Arch, the exhibiting hall Rotonda, where usual Peter's assemblies take place. |

11.00 The Pereslavl-Zalesskiy State History, Architecture and Art Museum-Preserve. The museum possesses the golden iconostasis made by the famous engraver Yakov Zhukov, several collections of the Old Russian art (15-18th c.), Russian painting (18-20th c.), fine and applied arts (16-19th c.) |

12.30 Pereslavl Loop City Tour –during this final excursion one can visit the Red Square, admire the old centre of Pereslavl and the ancient earthworks of the 12th century. |
